A few words about the Valdani threads and the fabric:
The colors are impeccable: brilliant, warm, earthy, exactly what I expected.
The fabric is way too supple, and easily gets deformed when sewing. I would definitely use the Zweigart linen, if not for the hand-dyed color effect. See how the fabric crease after one week’s work ->
The Valdani floss has the same problem: great color, but not so great quality. It gets frizzy easily. I found several knots and broken threads in my bundle. Crescent color and DMC varigated threads are much better.
Again, it’s something we all have to deal with for the beautiful color effect.
