The most exquisite and most complicated project ever….
The plate is so real and so detailed that it looks like it’s jumping out of (or falling from) the canvas.
It took me three months to finish this project.
Stitched on 28ct ecru cotton.
This hourglass pattern is an amazing design from stoney creek. The original words read: “Time spent with the Lord…is time well SPENT”
This is all very nice. However, the roses, the hourglass, the white lace, all reminds me of how beautiful it will be if it’s a wedding record. So I decided to go ahead with it.

Finished size: 30cmX9cm
Stitched on 18ct white cotton AIDA.
74 DMC colors used in this relatively small piece of cross stitch. As expected the pattern is really colorful and…..yummy…..
The finished size is larger than I thought. Think I used 32ct evenweave while the original DMC pack provides a 30ct linen evenweave. So following the designer’s idea, the finished work should be even larger….Overall it’s a good deco to be displayed on the… [...]
